  I LOVE THIS CHURCH! Pastor Tom Odom and his wife, Carolyn, are wonderful, loving people! They are very personable and so are the members, it's a great church family! FBA is an excellent school, my sons have grown so much academically, spiritually and emotionally. God has used this church to help bring healing to our family. I thank God for First Baptist Church and Academy!

  My son goes to school here, god placed this school in our path. This school is a blessing, we are so lucky. Feels like a big family and the education combined with god's word is a perfect pairing for my child.

  I visited this church several times almost a year ago. I was not impressed with either the pastor or his wife. This church is all about money. I gather the impression that if you don't have money you won't be as welcome here. I am not so sure about the pastor's wife. She is not at all friendly and the church reflects this attitude. No one came to visit me or contacted me after i filled out a visitors card on several occasions. We found an outgoing church that is focused on God and not money. The church has recently built a new building but looks like a slum in the back with the old buildings and the housing for the staff.
